Information we collect

The contact form collects your name, email address, optional business name, and the message you choose to send. If you contact Kim by phone or reply by email, that conversation may also become part of your inquiry record.

Our hosting and spam-protection providers may process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device details, referring page, requested pages, and submission or access times. This helps deliver the website, diagnose problems, and detect abuse.

How we use your information

We use inquiry details to respond, discuss your bookkeeping needs, arrange follow-up, and keep relevant business correspondence. Technical information supports website operation, security, and spam prevention.

Sending an inquiry does not subscribe you to a marketing mailing list. We do not use this website to sell personal information or run targeted advertising.

Services that help handle inquiries

• Netlify hosts the website and receives and stores contact-form submissions.
• Akismet, through Netlify, checks submitted content and technical information for spam. Suspected spam may be held for review instead of being emailed.
• SMTP2GO delivers the inquiry notification to Kim. The notification includes your submitted details, and your email address is used so Kim can reply to you.
• Our email provider stores the delivered notification and any follow-up correspondence.

These providers process information to perform their services and may retain operational or security records under their own policies. See the Netlify privacy policy, Akismet visitor privacy notice, and SMTP2GO privacy policy for more information. Depending on the provider, processing may take place outside your state or country.

Information may also be disclosed when required by law or when necessary to address fraud, security incidents, or legal claims.

Cookies, analytics, and outside links

The website does not currently use advertising trackers or optional visitor-analytics tools. Fonts and images are served with the site, and the LinkedIn link is a link rather than an embedded social feed. Hosting and security services may use technical information or essential technologies to operate and protect the site.

If you follow a link to LinkedIn or another website, that site's privacy practices apply. We will update this policy if we add tools that change how this website collects or uses information.

Retention and security

Inquiries may be retained in Netlify Forms and in our email system for as long as needed to respond, maintain relevant business records, resolve disputes, and meet applicable legal obligations. There is no fixed automatic deletion schedule for website inquiries. Service providers may retain separate logs or backups under their own retention policies.

The website uses HTTPS, and contact-form delivery credentials are kept on the server rather than in the public page. No online service can guarantee absolute security. If an engagement requires sensitive documents, contact Kim to arrange an appropriate way to share them.

Questions and requests

You can ask about information you have submitted, request a correction, or request deletion by using the contact form or calling 360-406-1623. Mention that your inquiry concerns privacy, and avoid including sensitive documents or identification numbers.

We may need to verify that a request is yours. Some records may need to be retained for legal or legitimate business purposes, and the rights available to you depend on applicable law.
